She is a master of martial arts in the Shinozaki style, and also a master of disguise.
Originally she was a maid working for the Ashford family, taking care of Lelouch and Nunnally.
She participated in the Black Knights behind the scenes as a spy for Diethard. She went missing after the Black Rebellion, carrying out a secret duty while in hiding with the Chinese Federation. During the Second Tokyo Battle, she infiltrated the Area 11 bureau and rescued Kallen. She was thought to be killed in the F.L.E.I.J.A. explosion, but was rescued by Schneizel.
However, she could not agree with Schneizel who used Nunnally, and turned against him.
She was injured in the process, but came back to support Lelouch.
